Hi. We are Brent and Marieke. We just got married and moved to the Midwest. We love eating, traveling, and finding beautiful things, in that order. This blog is a place for us to share our discoveries with our friends and family.

Brent worked in an organic fast-food chain for seven years after going to school in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. Marieke worked as a writer on Capitol Hill, moonlighting as a personal chef and recipe tester for her friends and family.

Marieke loves to cook, Brent loves to eat. We are both learning to savor; food, friends, places, experiences. These are our reflections.
